Marking and disclosure of AI-generated content

Version ai-act-v1.0 · Effective date: 25 de julio de 2026

This document is published in Spanish and in English. The Spanish version is the original text: in the event of any discrepancy between the two versions, the Spanish version prevails.

What we mark

Every video MakeItYours produces carries AI-generated content marking. Every one: those from the free trial, those from demo mode and those from any paid plan. There is no way to request an unmarked result, and it is not a setting you can turn off.

How we mark it

The marking is machine-readable and travels embedded in the video file, not on the web page. It combines standardised metadata that platforms already read today with a cryptographically signed provenance manifest. We also store a fingerprint of the file on our servers, so that we can later prove that this video came from here with its mark.

What we do not do: place logos, visible watermarks or notices over the image of your video. Your creative comes out as it went in.

(The free trial does additionally carry an audible audio watermark. That is a different thing: it is the difference between trying it out and being subscribed, and it disappears as soon as you subscribe.)

Why we do it

Because the European artificial intelligence Regulation requires whoever develops a system that generates synthetic content to mark its outputs in a way that allows a machine to detect that they were artificially generated. We are that obliged party and we comply from day one.

What is on you

When you publish the video it is you who disseminates it, and there the obligation to give notice is yours:

If you have doubts about what the platform where you publish requires of you, check its rules: they change frequently and they are the ones who enforce them.
